The first of new, absurdist, cat themed compilation series. As opposed to the uni concept in Unicat (of being 'unified', 'joined together') , Polycat takes the approach of divergence and variety. The divergence here lies in taking existing material from the Unicat catalogue and recycling/upcycling/demixing etc. to create something familiar but very much fresh and bumping at the same time. We invited some old hands and crowd favourites from past Unicat releases to interpret a track (or fragments) of their choice. Watch this space for more from the Polycat!
