Unicat Vol.10! Since the fall of 2021 that’s 10 parties of unicorn cats, innovative live performers, slamming DJ sets, audiences dancing their asses off, flashing unicat headbands, rude drawings, navigating covid protocols, and far too many shots, and 10 editions of the Unicat tape. As always the a Unicat Attack! doubles as an event and a release show for a cassette/digital compilation of original electronic music tied in with the performers, and Vol.10 on 2023.3.11 is no exception. Unicat #10 features another of Bass Ventura’s slowjam TED Talks in the nth dimension, some wall smashing sadness from our buddy down in the south of China Lastboss, and a down tempo mood setter from Loooooongish Cat. We’re also very excited to have UK artist Martin Crawford share his interpretation of the Unicat with us for the poster and the cover of the tape, bringing some retro future vibes to our beloved mascot.
