Unicat Attack! is a series of electronic music parties which combine live performances and DJ sets, with each event also being a release party for a compilation of original electronic music on cassette tape and online streaming platforms.The whole thing is themed around unicorn cats with each event and tape adorned with a different version of the unicat created by a guest artist. The aim of Unicat Attack! is to create a fun, playful event which introduces new and interesting types of electronic music to different audiences and gives DJs and live artists an opportunity to reach new audiences.

Looooooongish Cat is an android feline (that is sort of long) originally built by an evil scientist to destroy the human race. The Looooooongish Cat sound has its foundation in techno and house whilst integrating dub, soul, hip hop, blues, and ambient sounds. A key feature of Looooooongish Cat live sets is mixing cassette tapes, Gameboy sounds, and Buddha machines over evolving beats.

Meng Qi
Meng Qi is a pioneering synthesizer designer and musician, famous for his music and distinctive instruments, which are used by electronic artists all over the world. With dedication, research and deep experience in electronic musical interfaces, he designs synthesizers with unique thoughts and aesthetics, and performs modular synthesizers with a gestural, emotional edge. As a teacher of synthesis, creative coding and instrument building, he has led courses at institutions like Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Central Academy of Fine Arts and other major events throughout China and abroad. Recently, Meng Qi announced his 2 latest designs -- Wing Pinger and Wingie. Wing Pinger is an analog musical instrument that merges chaos and melody on a highly optimized interface for sonic versatility and deep expressions; Wingie is a handheld stereo resonator with on-board microphones. Otherwise, he's been running a Wechat public account called Synthesizer Minority, devoting to introducing the knowledge of synthesizer and how it is used in modern electronic music to more and more people.
Neko girl is a project of Jen Rao, Chinese-Canadian artist and one half of Beijing-based indie cassette label, nugget records. Her work is equal parts introspective and light-hearted, evoking emotions through the use of child-like imagery and vivid palettes. Her distinctive style can be seen on the covers of nugget record’s tape releases, within her self-published zines and through her collaborations with various collectives, musicians and creatives in her adopted home of Beijing and beyond.
